Unlike many internship programs that focus majorly on clinical hours, Fallen Timbers Holistic Services offers:

  • Flexible schedules tailored to each intern’s needs and goals.

  • Depth of experience based on the areas that interns want to explore most.

Schedule: Determined based on the intern’s availability and goals.

Duration: Customized for each intern.

Compensation: $20 per hour/session.

About the Supervisor

Jeffrey Howell, MA, LPCC-S

He believes that client-centered care begins with the therapeutic relationship. He views therapy as a collaborative journey, one that helps individuals and families broaden their perspectives and make informed, healthy choices.

With over 30 years of experience in behavioral health, Jeff has worked with adults, adolescents, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma. He incorporates therapeutic approaches including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

His supervision style combines professional rigor with compassion and support, ensuring interns develop both their clinical expertise and their confidence as future practitioners.
